About the Mandir
Restoring the soul of Mithila
In the holy land of Mithila, the Shiv Shakti Mahadev Mandir stands as a beacon of bhakti and bandagi — devotion and service. The temple complex brings together a living Ashram, a loving Gaushala and a traditional Gurukul, so that the sacred dharma of this land is practised, protected and passed on.
The seva of the mandir is carried forward under the stewardship of the Shiv Shakti Mahadev Bathnaha Foundation, a registered institution devoted to spiritual and social welfare in Madhubani, Bihar.
